A short walk takes you to Marshall Street with its pubs, cafés, and shops; Apex Park and the statue of Gunsynd, the Goondiwindi Grey, is just around the corner; and the scenic Macintyre River walk is five minutes away.
Our motor inn takes its name from Gunsynd — the 'Goondiwindi Grey', one of Australia's best-loved racehorses, winner of 29 races and immortalised in Apex Park just down the road. That name sets the tone for the place: local, proud, and built for the long haul.
